Life Group Goals and Principles
- Growing in Christ: Life groups point to God through prayer, Bible study, and holding one another accountable in Christ.
- To provide church members with another avenue for developing relationships in the church which will insure that members stay connected to the local body.
- Equipping and Training: Life groups provide the kind of mentoring relationship with leaders that will teach people to reach their God-given potential and join Him in His work.
- Outreach: Life groups should always be growing, because the people in them are concerned about reaching their generation for Christ. It is important for people to personally invite and bring their friends into the group.
- Provide a place for crisis and healing: Everyone faces emergencies or crisis moments. In these situations, life groups provide a close group of friends to offer comfort, counsel and prayer support.
- Applying Scripture: It is through the application of God's Word to our lives that we become what God desires.
